Design and implement application-level and embedded software using C/C++ and C# on Windows and Linux platforms.
Develop, test, and document software code for sonar systems including GUI and system control functions.
Perform technical reviews, design analyses, and selection of hardware and mission-critical software components.
Provide independent validation and verification of design concepts and implementation approaches to ensure quality standards.
Manage software configuration, documentation, and review procedures to ensure compliance with customer requirements and engineering best practices.
Prepare design review materials for formal technical audits such as SRR, PDR, and CDR.
Lead project activities by estimating resources, assigning tasks, and providing technical guidance to the engineering team.
Deliver technical presentations and proposals regarding program execution status to management and customers.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 9 years of experience, a Graduate Degree with 7 years, or 13 years of experience without a degree.
At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing software in C/C++ and C# languages.
At least 2 years of experience in embedded software and user interface (UI) development on Windows and Linux platforms.
At least 2 years of practical knowledge of project management.
Leadership experience with comprehensive knowledge in a specific technical discipline and broad understanding of related functions.
Professional experience in project management, software metrics, team leadership, and EVMS.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
