As a Lead Software Engineer - Shared Services within the Risk Technology team, you will join an agile team to design and deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology products. You will be responsible for executing software solutions, troubleshooting complex problems, and creating high-quality production code while maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with various systems. Your daily work involves producing architecture artifacts, ensuring deployment efficiency via build servers, and driving the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed. The technical stack includes TypeScript, React, Spring Boot, Java, Micro Services, Kubernetes, Oracle, Kafka, and Maven. You will navigate a complex environment involving Cloud Computing, Databricks, Data Mesh, and GraphQL to solve critical business problems while ensuring system stability and security across both private and public cloud platforms.
Design and develop secure, stable, and scalable software solutions for risk technology products.
Build high-quality production code using TypeScript, React, and Spring Boot back-ends.
Deploy applications to Kubernetes-based platforms across private and public clouds.
Manage and optimize deployment processes via build servers to ensure efficiency and control.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review and testing.
Create architecture and design artifacts while ensuring software code meets specific design constraints.
Troubleshoot complex technical problems and improve overall system stability and performance.
Implement automated solutions within the Software Development Life Cycle to increase operational value.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
Solid coding experience in Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Cloud Computing, Oracle, and Kafka.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, secure handling, and coaching engineers on compliant adoption.
Solid understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, applicant resiliency, and security.
Experience with cloud deployment solutions such as Kubernetes and advanced competency in AWS, Databricks, Data Mesh, and GraphQL.
