Lead Software Engineer, Java, Shared Services

What you'll do

• Design and develop secure, high-quality production code using TypeScript, React, and Spring Boot.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring code meets all design constraints.
• Implement and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with enterprise systems.
• Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review, refactoring, and testing.
• Manage deployments to Kubernetes-based platforms on private and public clouds via build servers.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems and execute software solutions beyond conventional approaches.
• Improve system stability and efficiency through automation and SDLC toolchain optimization.
• Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Solid development and coding experience in Java, Micro Services, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Cloud Computing, Oracle, and Kafka.
• Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and setting validation standards for outputs.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as CI/CD.
• Advanced competency in AWS, Databricks, Data Mesh, GraphQL, and Maven (preferred).
