What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
Design and implement creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems beyond conventional approaches.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.
Lead communities of practice to promote the adoption of leading-edge technologies across Software Engineering.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review, refactoring, and testing.
Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge and automation capabilities to increase the value of software delivery.
Establish validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing within the development workflow.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Proficiency in coding with Java, Spring Boot, JPA, SQL, and REST.
Experience building RESTful backend applications and working with Oracle relational databases.
Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka.
Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and maintaining code in large corporate environments.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and understanding responsible AI practices.
Familiarity with Groovy, Gradle, containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), AWS cloud technologies, or AI/ML technologies (preferred).
