Lead Software Engineer - Java Full Stack
As part of the Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology team, this Lead Software Engineer will drive end-to-end technology solution delivery for commercial lending products across loan origination, servicing, and delivery. The role involves leading scrum teams through agile ceremonies, making architectural decisions, performing code reviews, and conducting proofs of concept to ensure stable, scalable, and secure systems. You will solve complex technical challenges by leveraging Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, JPA, Python, Scala, REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture. The front-end stack includes Angular 16, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAX. Additionally, the role utilizes AI technology, Kafka, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform to enhance business outcomes within a complex financial services environment involving payment solutions and capital markets.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions for commercial lending products including origination, servicing, and delivery.
Act as a technical advisor to leadership to design and influence solutions for complex business needs.
Solve and code high-complexity challenges requiring advanced analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving across the enterprise.
Translate strategic business objectives into technical engineering solutions while providing architecture guidance and performing extensive code reviews.

What we're looking for
5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work, training, military service, or education.
5+ years of experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, JPA, Python, Scala REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
5+ years of experience with Angular 16, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAX.
2+ years of AI technology implementation experience.
2+ years of experience working in Agile environments.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services (preferred).
Experience with Kafka, event-driven architecture, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, Gradle, and SonarQube (preferred).
Knowledge of Ansible, Shell Scripting, F5, AVI, infrastructure automation, and enterprise application design (preferred).
