As a Senior Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack Development | AI-assisted Engineering within the Asset Management team, you will join an agile group focused on building and delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology products. What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by others.
Provide technical guidance and direction to business teams and contractors.
Drive the adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across teams.
Establish measurable validation standards for secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
Influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations processes.
Serve as a subject matter expert in specific technology areas to support firmwide initiatives.
Advocate for and implement firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices within the SDLC.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, specifically Java and Python.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Practical cloud native experience with AWS.
Experience with Hibernate, Spring JPA, and database design (AWS Postgres) to build scalable services.
Experience building scalable Rest APIs and knowledge of GraphQL; Kafka experience is preferred.
