Lead Software Engineer, IMA Configuration Tool

What you'll do

• Lead the design, development, debugging, testing, and review of software applications using C# and Python.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior software engineers to support team growth.
• Translate user needs and system requirements into effective software solutions for IMA Configuration Tools.
• Ensure all software development activities align with product specifications and program objectives.
• Drive interoperability and integration of software solutions with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies for complex engineering problems.
• Support project leadership with task planning, work assignment definition, and execution to meet schedules.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and engineering best practices.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development.
• Experience designing, developing, debugging, and testing software applications in C# and/or Python.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience leading projects and/or mentoring software engineering team members (preferred).
• Strong oral and written communication skills (preferred).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles (preferred).
