As an AEM Lead Software Engineer within Asset Wealth Management, you will provide deep engineering expertise to enhance and deliver trusted market-leading technology products. You will work across agile teams to design, develop, and troubleshoot secure production code while leading the strategic development of new technology portfolios. Your daily responsibilities include driving team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices, managing software development life cycle toolchains, and evaluating external vendors for architectural applicability. You must possess deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager, including OSGi, Sling Models, and dispatcher configurations, alongside proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and CSS/SCSS. You will solve complex problems within the financial services industry by ensuring web security, SEO best practices, and performance optimization while managing responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions that go beyond conventional approaches.
Write, review, and debug secure, high-quality production code.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing.
Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge and automation capabilities to improve overall development value.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to probe architectural designs and technical credentials.
Coach engineers on the safe, compliant, and responsible use of AI within engineering workflows.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Deep expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including component development, content architecture, OSGi, Sling Models, and dispatcher configurations.
Strong knowledge of Adobe’s marketing ecosystem (e.g., Marketo, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target or Engage) and their integration with AEM.
Hands-on proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, React or similar frameworks, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design.
Solid understanding of web security, SEO best practices, web accessibility (WCAG 2.x), and performance optimization.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security, plus in-depth knowledge of financial services IT.
