As an AEM Lead Software Engineer within Asset Wealth Management, you will provide deep engineering expertise to build and deliver secure, stable, and scalable market-leading technology products. You will execute creative software solutions, develop high-quality production code, and lead the strategic development of existing product portfolios while troubleshooting complex technical problems. Your daily work involves driving team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review, refactoring, and test acceleration while ensuring secure coding standards. You will utilize Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), OSGi, Sling Models, and dispatcher configurations alongside front-end technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, React, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design. The role requires expertise in the Adobe marketing ecosystem, web security, SEO, and WCAG accessibility. You will solve complex problems within the financial services industry using cloud native practices and automated SDLC toolchains.
Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing across the team.
Implement automation capabilities within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to increase operational value.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the stability of software applications.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
Coach engineers on the safe, compliant adoption of AI tools while ensuring data sensitivity and security standards.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
5+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Deep expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) including component development, content architecture, OSGi, Sling Models, and dispatcher configurations.
Knowledge of the Adobe marketing ecosystem, including Marketo, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or Engage.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design.
Understanding of web security, SEO best practices, WCAG 2.x accessibility standards, and performance optimization.
Experience leading AI-assisted engineering practices and ensuring responsible, secure use of AI tools in development workflows.
