What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Design and execute creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems beyond conventional approaches.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer review, and automated testing across the team.
Lead communities of practice to promote the use of leading-edge technologies across Software Engineering.
Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve the value realized by automation and application resiliency.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
Deep expertise in Java/JVM ecosystem and Spring Boot framework.
Proven experience building robust APIs and microservices architectures.
Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Hands-on experience with Kafka for architecting and building distributed messaging and event-driven architectures.
Advanced skills in PostgreSQL and database optimization.
Proven experience with React JS and modern front-end development practices.
Experience in financial services (preferred).
