Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack (Risk Tech, Intelligent Foundations & Experiences) joins the Risk Tech team to build and deploy proprietary solutions for risk management powered by state-of-the-art AI technology. Working with the GRC team, you will lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create distributed microservices and full stack systems that meet regulatory needs. You will build robust cloud-based solutions using JavaScript, Java, Node.JS, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go. The role requires expertise in Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools. This position solves complex business problems by using machine learning to prevent risks and automatically detect issues before they impact customers or the business.

What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers.
Build and deploy proprietary risk management solutions powered by state-of-the-art AI technology.
Develop distributed microservices and full-stack systems to meet regulatory needs.
Deliver robust cloud-based solutions using AWS tools and services.
Utilize programming languages including Java, Python, Node.JS, and Go to build applications.
Manage and implement container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and share knowledge on tech trends.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Master's Degree (preferred).
7+ years of experience in at least one of JavaScript, Java, Node.JS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred).
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
1+ years of people management experience (preferred).
