The Lead Software Engineer (AWS, Golang, NodeJS) joins the Risk Tech team to build and deploy proprietary solutions for risk management powered by state-of-the-art AI technology. The role requires proficiency in JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with experience in Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases. You will utilize container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, alongside various AWS tools. This position focuses on transforming risk management through data-driven tools that prevent risks and automatically detect issues.

What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create regulatory solutions.
Build and deploy proprietary risk management solutions powered by state-of-the-art AI technology.
Develop robust cloud-based solutions using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Utilize programming languages including Go, Node.js, Python, Java, and TypeScript to build full-stack systems.
Design and manage distributed microservices and open-source RDBMS or NoSQL databases.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and share knowledge on emerging tech trends.
Deliver data-driven tools that use machine learning to prevent risks and detect issues automatically.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Master's Degree (preferred).
7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred).
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
1+ years of people management experience (preferred).
2+ years of experience in Agile practices (preferred).
Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity (preferred).
