JOB TITLE: Lead Software Engineer, Fullstack (Python, Typescript, React, AWS) The Lead Software Engineer, Fullstack (Python, Typescript, React, AWS) joins the Risk Tech team to drive a major transformation in risk management. This role involves leading a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to build distributed microservices and full stack systems that meet regulatory needs. You will collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions while mentoring other engineering community members. The position requires proficiency in JavaScript, Java, Node.JS, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go. You will also utilize Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and various AWS tools. The work focuses on Risk Management Tech and AML and Compliance Tech to ensure products meet BSA/AML regulations and global laws.

What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers.
Develop distributed microservices and full stack systems to meet regulatory needs.
Build and deliver robust cloud-based solutions using AWS tools and services.
Utilize programming languages including Python, TypeScript, React, Java, and Go.
Manage container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement solutions using open source RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and share technical expertise.
Leverage interactive AI tooling to accelerate software development productivity.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Master's Degree (preferred).
7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Python, Typescript, or React (preferred).
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
1+ years of people management experience (preferred).
