Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack-IC joins the Risk Tech team to build and deploy proprietary risk management solutions powered by state-of-the-art AI technology. The engineer will collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions while mentoring other members of the engineering community. Day-to-day work involves utilizing technologies such as NodeJs, TypeScript, Angular, HTML/CSS, Java, SQL, Python, Kafka, and various Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases. The technical stack also includes Container Orchestration services like Docker and AWS Fargate, along with frameworks such as Springboot and VueJs to develop micro UI architectures within a cloud-based environment to solve complex risk management problems.

What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers in a distributed microservices environment.
Build and deploy proprietary risk management solutions powered by state-of-the-art AI technology.
Develop robust cloud-based solutions using AWS tools, including Lambda and Fargate.
Create full-stack systems using technologies such as NodeJs, TypeScript, Angular, Java, and Python.
Implement microservice and micro UI architectures to meet corporate regulatory needs.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and share knowledge on emerging technology trends.
Utilize interactive AI tooling to accelerate development productivity and software delivery.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Master's Degree (preferred).
9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred).
4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
1+ years of people management experience; 2+ years of experience in Agile practices; and experience leveraging interactive AI tooling (preferred).
