What you'll do

Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions for the Planning & Analysis group.
Write secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews for other team members.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions to probe architectural designs and technical credentials for existing systems.
Lead communities of practice to drive the adoption of leading-edge technologies.
Deploy and scale systems within AWS environments using cloud-native experience.
Implement automation and continuous delivery methods throughout the software development life cycle.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience in coding Java or Python.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience with AI systems, LLMs, and machine learning for financial applications.
Experience deploying and scaling systems within AWS.
Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
Practical cloud native experience.
10+ years of experience in a software engineering/architect role (preferred).
Experience working with Databricks (preferred).
