As a Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack Engineer within the Connected Banking - Personal Financial Management team, you will lead engineering innovation by architecting, developing, and evolving scalable, resilient products. What you'll do

Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions for scalable and resilient products.
Write high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other engineers.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system operational stability.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for AI outputs, including secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
Evaluate external vendors and internal technologies to determine architectural fit and applicability.
Lead communities of practice to promote the use of leading-edge technologies across Software Engineering.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools with a focus on validation for security and performance.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Containerization (Docker and Kubernetes), and Cassandra or other NoSQL databases.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, Redux, Angular, ExtJS, JQuery, or NodeJS.
Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies (CI/CD), application resiliency, security, and cloud-native experience in AWS.
Experience working in a financial services environment (preferred).
Experience as a technology coach and leader to help teams solve technical problems (preferred).
