Lead Software Engineer, AI / Full Stack

What you'll do

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of full-stack AI-enabled applications and Conversational AI.
• Architect scalable and secure solutions using React, Python, Java, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
• Guide the implementation of AI agents, RAG workflows, and intelligent automation capabilities.
• Drive integration with relational and non-relational databases including SQL, Oracle, ElasticSearch, and MongoDB.
• Establish engineering best practices for clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, and design patterns.
• Manage the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Oversee the integration of message queues, streaming platforms, and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure responsible AI use by coaching engineers on data sensitivity, security, and compliant delivery practices.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 5+ years of full stack application development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in React and at least one other programming language.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, including automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security.
• Practical cloud-native experience, such as with AWS.
• Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure handling of inputs/outputs in engineering workflows.
