As a Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack within the Enterprise Technology - Network Services Team, you will join an agile team to build and deliver trusted, scalable technology products. You will own end-to-end full stack delivery, from system design and implementation to production operations on Kubernetes. Your daily work involves developing frontend components using React and TypeScript, backend microservices with Python, data workflows via Apache Airflow DAGs, and data modeling in CockroachDB. You will drive architecture decisions to improve throughput and reliability while managing cloud-native deployments. Key responsibilities include performance tuning using Splunk and Grafana, managing event-driven architectures with Kafka, and leading the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices. You will solve complex technical problems by ensuring secure, high-availability software across various business functions.
Own end-to-end full stack delivery including React/TypeScript frontends, Python backend services, Apache Airflow workflows, and CockroachDB data modeling.
Design and deliver scalable, highly available services and user experiences for large-scale applications.
Build and maintain cloud-native deployments on Kubernetes, including configuration, scaling strategies, and operational readiness.
Drive monitoring, observability, and performance tuning across the stack using tools like Splunk and Grafana.
Lead the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to probe architectural designs and technical credentials.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Demonstrated full stack engineering capability to deliver independently across the SDLC.
Strong proficiency in Python for microservices and automation, with strong React experience for production-grade web applications.
Hands-on experience deploying and operating workloads on Kubernetes, API gateways, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
Experience with workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow and distributed databases like CockroachDB.
Proven ability to support observability and operations using tools such as Splunk and Grafana.
Demonstrated technical leadership as a senior IC to lead designs and drive delivery across teams.
Experience with agentic AI frameworks and model-to-tool integration patterns (preferred).
