  • Design, develop, and improve software solutions to ensure vehicle manufacturing quality and rocket reusability.
  • Drive architectural direction and roadmap execution for the Build Reliability software suite.
  • Manage a team of software engineers including their technical and personal development.
  • Own the complete lifecycle of software products, including development, testing, and ongoing support.
  • Analyze application usage data to identify and implement features that improve user experience.
  • Translate requirements from other engineering departments into highly reliable software solutions.
  • Design and implement robust, scalable systems with flexible user interfaces.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or another engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience (or 7+ years if no degree is held).
  • Experience mentoring and growing employees.
  • Proven ability to design and implement robust, scalable systems as an architect.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as Python, C#, .NET, Go, or Java.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React and database technologies like PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
  • Expertise in software testing, infrastructure, and performance profiling.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to meet ITAR requirements.
