What you'll do

Architect and build scalable, containerized Java Spring Boot microservices.
Integrate AI-powered development tools to improve code quality and team velocity.
Design and implement high-performance APIs to connect platforms with firm-wide control systems.
Develop backend systems using Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud technologies.
Build and optimize data access layers using Hibernate, JPA, Oracle, and MongoDB.
Implement caching solutions using Redis or other caching frameworks.
Apply TDD and test-first development practices across all stages of the lifecycle.
Perform code reviews and static code analysis to ensure high software quality.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Master's degree (preferred).
5-8 years of hands-on experience in software development building and designing robust backend systems.
Experience with Java/Spring Boot framework or modern frontend frameworks like React and Angular.
Strong experience with containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for cloud-native applications.
Demonstrated experience leading technical projects or acting as a tech lead for a development team.
Experience working in Financial Services or another large, complex global environment (preferred).
Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular (preferred).
