Lead Software Engineer, Cloud ERP Finance Systems

What you'll do

• Define and govern end-to-end architecture for Workday Financials, Accounting Center, and enterprise integration platforms.
• Architect and deliver secure, scalable Workday-MuleSoft integrations across Salesforce, RevRec, Vertex, and banking platforms.
• Lead the adoption of AI developer tools and automation platforms to embed AI-assisted practices into the engineering workflow.
• Prototype agentic AI use cases for finance and drive AI adoption across the engineering lifecycle.
• Design and operate cloud-native integration infrastructure on AWS and GCP using event-driven, serverless, and microservices approaches.
• Mentor engineers through architecture and code reviews to foster a culture of continuous learning and experimentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver end-to-end solutions at scale.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, including Workday Financials, Accounting Center, or comparable Oracle/SAP ERP platforms.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in architecture and solution design for large-scale enterprise systems in complex, integration-heavy environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of Workday technical frameworks including Business Processes, Security, Prism Analytics, Core Connectors, EIB, Studio, and Workday Extend.
• Hands-on mastery of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Studio, ESB, API Management, and CloudHub for building scalable, secure API-led integrations.
• Solid understanding of integration architecture including SOA, event-driven design, API design principles, REST/SOAP web services, and async messaging patterns.
• Practical experience with AI developer productivity tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and CodeWhisperer.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including log analysis using Splunk or similar tools.
• A related technical degree (preferred).
