Lead Software Engineer - Back End/Full Stack/IAM joins the Corporate Sector Chief Technology Office Identity and Access Management team to build and deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology products. The role requires expertise in Python, Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Angular, or React, alongside experience with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket. You will develop RESTful web services and APIs while addressing specific challenges within the financial services industry and Identity and Access Management systems.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code quality and delivery speed.
Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by others.
Identify opportunities to automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.
Lead communities of practice to promote awareness and adoption of leading-edge technologies.
Implement automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end frameworks.
Design and develop RESTful web services and APIs using various frameworks.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, Spring Boot, Angular, or React.
Experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful web services and APIs using various frameworks.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools while ensuring security and performance standards.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery practices, CI/CD automation (Jenkins, Bitbucket), and cloud-based deployment paradigms.
Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, Kerberos, or OAuth 2.0 protocols (preferred).
