Lead Software Engineer, Full stack

What you'll do

• Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
• Design and execute creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems beyond conventional approaches.
• Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
• Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Establish validation standards for secure coding, peer review, and automated testing across the development lifecycle.
• Lead communities of practice to promote the use of leading-edge technologies across Software Engineering.
• Apply knowledge of SDLC toolchains and automation capabilities to maximize the value of automated processes.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated strong hands-on expertise in Hyper-V and Openshift Infrastructure development with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline like cloud, AI, or machine learning.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
• Practical cloud native experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption.
