What you'll do

Develop and deploy the Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) system to improve air traffic management.
Automate infrastructure and system deployments using Ansible playbooks, roles, and custom plugins.
Create scripts and tools for automation using Python and Bash/Shell scripting.
Perform Linux system administration across various environments from bare metal to production.
Manage containerized workloads using Podman or Docker technologies.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and manage CI/CD pipelines for software deployment.
Configure network settings, virtual machines, and physical hardware provisioning for airport systems.
Travel to and provide on-site technical support at FAA airport locations across the United States.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
4+ years of proven experience in Software Engineering.
Deep experience with Ansible, including playbooks, roles, custom plugins, and inventory systems.
Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tool development.
Expertise in Bash/Shell scripting for complex build orchestration and system automation.
Proficiency in Linux system administration, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux and package management.
Experience with container technologies such as Podman or Docker.
Ability to pass a government security investigation for access to classified information.
