What you'll do

Develop and deploy the Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) system to improve air traffic management.
Automate infrastructure and build processes using Ansible, Python, and Bash scripting.
Manage the full lifecycle of Linux systems from bare metal to production deployment.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines for large-scale configuration management.
Configure network settings, manage virtual machines, and oversee container orchestration using Podman or Docker.
Travel up to 50% of the time to provide on-site technical support at FAA airport locations.
Troubleshoot complex system issues across multiple layers of hardware, software, and network configurations.
Coordinate multi-site infrastructure deployments in both standard and air-gapped environments.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
4+ years of proven experience in Software Engineering.
Deep experience with Ansible, including playbooks, roles, custom plugins, and inventory systems.
Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tool development.
Expertise in Bash/Shell scripting for complex build orchestration and system automation.
Proficiency in Linux system administration, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux and package management.
Experience with container technologies such as Podman or Docker.
Ability to pass a government security investigation for access to classified information.
