What you'll do

Design and implement standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting and testing product precision and accuracy.
Analyze nonconformities and discrepancies to determine root causes and develop corrective action plans.
Lead Material Review Board (MRB) activities and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to reduce risk.
Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with manufacturing plans, program requirements, and enterprise standards.
Execute First Article Inspections per AS9102 requirements and manage hardware acceptance documentation.
Manage supplier corrective actions and serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality matters.
Develop and monitor inspection methods to ensure products meet specific engineering requirements.
Participate in improvement teams to implement mistake-proofing principles and lean inspection methods.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience, a graduate degree and 7 years of experience, or no degree and 13 years of experience.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
Experience with solid rocket component fabrication, electro-mechanical parts assembly, Final Assembly and Check-out, or Avionics (preferred).
Experience with Hardware Acceptance Review processes (preferred).
ASQ certification (preferred).
Experience implementing cost-effective, LEAN inspection/verification methods or Key Characteristics per AS9103 (preferred).
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word to generate reports and analyze data (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
