Senior Specialist, Quality Engineering

What you'll do

• Develop and implement standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting and testing product precision and accuracy.
• Analyze nonconformities and discrepancies to determine root causes and develop corrective action plans.
• Lead Material Review Board (MRB) activities and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to reduce risk.
• Conduct process audits to ensure manufacturing follows program requirements and enterprise quality standards.
• Execute First Article Inspections per AS9102 requirements and manage hardware acceptance documentation.
• Manage supplier corrective actions and serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality matters.
• Develop and monitor inspection methods to ensure products meet specific engineering requirements.
• Participate in improvement teams to implement mistake-proofing principles and lean inspection methods.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience, a graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience performing First Article Inspection execution per AS9102 requirements.
• Experience leading Material Review Board (MRB) and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities.
• Proficiency in identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Computer skills to generate reports and analyze data using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with solid rocket component fabrication, electro-mechanical parts assembly, or Avionics (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
