What you'll do

Lead Space System project teams to meet customer requirements within allocated cost and schedule constraints.
Manage technical leadership over requirements definition, concept generation, material selection, and design documentation.
Identify, track, mitigate, and manage program-level risks and opportunities in coordination with senior engineers.
Estimate and manage resource needs, including labor, materials, and subcontract costs for projects.
Monitor project budgets and schedules while preparing regular status reports for stakeholders.
Coordinate between project teams and resource managers to ensure all necessary reviews and approvals are obtained.
Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to guide the success of engineering projects.
Support proposals for new work and lead program milestone reviews such as PDR, CDR, and FCA/PCA.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience, a graduate degree and 6 years of experience, or no degree and 13 years of experience are required.
Ability to obtain a federal security clearance.
Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) or equivalent fiscal responsibility is required.
Proficiency in using Earned Value (EV) to guide project success is required.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is preferred.
PMP certification or other formal training is preferred.
Experience with optical payload, space vehicle integration, and testing of complex systems is preferred.
