What you'll do

Lead a cross-functional team to resolve complex design and integration challenges on airborne platforms.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers throughout the program lifecycle.
Develop and manage project plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
Review and approve engineering deliverables, including test plans, technical reports, and design changes.
Lead formal design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and milestone reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
Drive root cause investigations and the resolution of nonconformances or corrective actions.
Provide leadership during bid and proposal phases, including generating technical volumes and responding to RFIs/RFPs.
Track engineering performance metrics and report program status to senior leadership monthly.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and minimum 9 years of relevant experience, a graduate degree and 7 years of experience, or 13 years of experience without a degree.
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
Demonstrated experience in program planning, guidance, and engineering execution within scope, schedule, and budget.
Demonstrated experience understanding of engineering processes and policies.
Demonstrated experience in Bid and Proposal development.
Experience in Aero Engineering, Software/Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Project Engineering.
Ability to travel as needed based on business demands.
Experience in leadership roles such as Task Leader, IPT Leader, or Functional Manager (preferred); excellent communication skills (preferred).
