The Lead Principal Product Manager owns a major strategic product area that influences line-of-business outcomes across organizations. This individual contributor role involves translating strategic customer adoption patterns, competitive signals, and technical constraints into a coherent product strategy. You will build deep relationships with strategic customer executives and engineering leaders to develop a prioritized roadmap that drives success from conception through launch. Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional initiatives, managing design-partner programs, and creating product specifications and reference architectures. You will utilize expertise in AI/ML infrastructure, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure to deliver scalable capabilities with high reliability and performance. The role focuses on solving complex technical problems within AI/ML, Cloud Native, and Dedicated Cloud environments to provide a clearer path to production and stronger economics.
Own and evolve a prioritized product roadmap that aligns with strategic customer needs and company goals.
Build deep relationships with strategic customer executives and engineering leaders to identify adoption barriers and requirements.
Partner with Engineering to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure capabilities for AI/ML and Cloud Native environments.
Lead design-partner, early-adopter, and beta programs to validate product direction and generate reusable customer patterns.
Translate customer insights into technical specifications, reference architectures, and product documentation.
Manage complex cross-functional initiatives from discovery through launch while maintaining clear success measures and risk assessments.
Monitor the competitive landscape to sharpen product differentiation and provide leadership with strategic investment recommendations.
Mentor and coach product managers to improve the quality of product thinking and customer insight across the team.
What we're looking for
Must have 10+ years of relevant experience in product management, cloud infrastructure, enterprise technology, or a related field.
Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
An MBA, advanced technical degree, or equivalent relevant experience is also valued (preferred).
Must have proven success owning product strategy, roadmaps, releases, and operational quality for business-critical products with significant technical scope.
Must have deep expertise in at least one area including AI/ML infrastructure, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or Dedicated Cloud environments.
Must have experience engaging directly with large strategic customers and building relationships at CxO and senior technical leadership levels.
Must have the ability to operate independently on complex, cross-organizational initiatives and identify technical, customer, and business risks.
Must have strong analytical, commercial, written, presentation, and executive communication skills to guide roadmap decisions and influence stakeholders.
