What you'll do

Architect, design, and implement highly scalable distributed systems for the OCI Log Analytics platform.
Drive technical requirements for critical platform services including compute, networking, and storage.
Develop and guide new software features for processing pipelines and data storage systems.
Manage the scaling of processing pipelines using elastic databases and infrastructure components.
Optimize system performance, reliability, and storage costs across multiple microservices.
Mentor engineers and lead technical design reviews to improve engineering standards.
Solve complex computing system problems related to CPU, memory, and thread management.

What we're looking for

Must have a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent.
Requires 10+ years of experience for this role.
Requires at least 6 years of industry experience.
Proficiency in Java, Python, and Shell Script is required.
Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and operating systems.
Experience with REST API and service-oriented development.
Experience designing, building, and operating distributed services at scale using cloud technologies.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
