Lead Principal Field Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Identify recurring deployment pain points across site readiness, hardware, networking, cabling, power, and cooling.
• Establish ground truth for commissioning and handoff issues that are not reflected in standard reporting.
• Translate field problems into clear requirements, process fixes, and playbook updates for technical owners.
• Build readiness gates, go/no-go criteria, and validation mechanisms to improve the path to production.
• Drive systemic fixes to prevent recurring deployment issues across different regions and programs.
• Convert field learnings into repeatable mechanisms, dashboards, and executive narratives.
• Travel to deployment sites to partner with cross-functional teams and resolve infrastructure hurdles.

What we're looking for

• Must have 10+ years of experience in the relevant field.
• Must have at least 7 years of experience in operational excellence, field engineering, or technical program management.
• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must demonstrate the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Must have strong analytical skills using metrics, dashboards, and various data sources.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills for executive-level reporting.
• Must be able to travel approximately 25–50% based on deployment needs.
