Lead Manufacturing Test Equipment Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and develop automated production test systems for complex electronic aerospace products from concept to deployment.
• Develop and maintain automated test software using National Instruments TestStand, C/C++/C#, and LabWindows/CVI.
• Provide hands-on technical support to manufacturing by debugging test systems, failures, and equipment issues.
• Define test strategies including data analytics, design-for-test (DFT) input, and board-level test strategies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including requirements, schematics, procedures, and verification reports.
• Mentor and coach other test engineers on tools, architecture, and development practices.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive improvements in test capability, productivity, and quality.

What we're looking for

• BS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing automated test systems for complex electronic products or electrical systems.
• Proficiency in software development using C, C++, and C#.
• Fundamental knowledge of electrical design for electrical/electronic equipment.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex hardware, software, and system-level problems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to document, plan, and execute projects to meet scope, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by export-control regulations (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee).
