As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer ( SDWAN)- Risk Management, you will join the Infrastructure Platform, SDWAN team to shape the future of network infrastructure. You will design and build a next-generation SD-WAN ecosystem featuring integrated management, monitoring, and analytics while ensuring all designs align with security, resiliency, and operational risk controls. Your daily work involves leading architecture evaluations, producing functional architecture, HLD, and LLD artifacts, and decomposing complex requirements into technical outcomes. You will utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and automation routines. Key technical requirements include hands-on SD-WAN network engineering, core networking, routing, network virtualization, and network automation. You must manage the SD-WAN risk profile by maintaining audit-ready documentation and providing clear stakeholder communication on technical risks and mitigations.

What you'll do

  • Design and build a next-generation SD-WAN ecosystem with integrated management, monitoring, and analytics.
  • Lead the architecture, evaluation, and standardization of SD-WAN and emerging network communication technologies.
  • Develop technical design solutions and architecture artifacts, including functional architecture, HLD, and LLD.
  • Capture, analyze, and document requirements for complex systems, products, and subsystems.
  • Apply security and cybersecurity methodologies to network designs to ensure services align with business requirements.
  • Lead test strategy and execution by creating test plans, cases, and use cases for stakeholders.
  • Manage delivery schedules and resources while providing regular updates on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI to accelerate infrastructure analysis and validate remediation options for recurring issues.

What we're looking for

  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on SD-WAN network engineering experience across design, implementation, and support.
  • Advanced knowledge in SD-WAN, core networking/routing, network virtualization, and network automation concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits.
  • Hands-on experience producing design artifacts such as functional architecture, HLD, and LLD.
  • Proven ability to lead requirements analysis and manage SD-WAN delivery technology/operational risk with audit-ready controls.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical design and architecture to stakeholders.
  • Industry-recognized SD-WAN certification (preferred).
