Required technical skills include proficiency in Cisco IOS-XE, vManage, and network automation tools, alongside experience with Cisco Catalyst 8300 and 8500 series devices. The position requires a Security+ certification, active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and knowledge of Zero Trust models and PKI.

What you'll do

  • Design, configure, deploy, and manage Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN solutions across production and test environments.
  • Implement and maintain vManage, vSmart, vBond, and various edge routers.
  • Configure and manage Quality of Service (QoS), security policies, and network segmentation.
  • Provide expertise in overlay/underlay networking including BGP, OSPF, and IPSec tunnels.
  • Perform installation, testing, and validation of network components both remotely and on-site.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot SD-WAN related issues to optimize connectivity.
  • Document network architecture, configurations, and best practices for the organization.
  • Support large-scale network deployments, upgrades, and migrations as required.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related experience or Master's with 10+ years.
  • Strong experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN/Viptela or Meraki).
  • Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and WAN technologies.
  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance.
  • Current DoD 8570 certification at IAT level II (Security+CE).
  • Proficiency with Cisco IOS-XE, vManage, and network automation tools.
  • Basic Linux Administration or command line interface (CLI) experience.
