What you'll do

Lead teams providing end-to-end application and infrastructure service delivery for business operations.
Manage incident, problem, and change management processes for full-stack technology systems.
Monitor production environments for anomalies and evolve the use of standard observability tools.
Administer and troubleshoot Mainframe components including IBM z-Series hardware and firmware upgrades.
Communicate technical issues and solutions to stakeholders during high-pressure bridge calls and incident resolutions.
Integrate enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis, design documentation, and automation routines.
Automate manual operational work by designing, coding, and testing software in a Site Reliability Engineering capacity.
Ensure all infrastructure changes are traceable, auditable, and aligned with security and resiliency standards.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Experience operating and managing IBM z-Series environments.
Demonstrated leadership of Operational and SRE Teams in a 24X7 support environment, including people management.
Extensive knowledge of replication technologies such as IBM CSM and GDPS.
Expertise in administering z-Series and Hardware Management Console (HMC), including Firmware/Microcode upgrades.
Working knowledge of security standards (SSH), transaction-based systems (IMS, CICS, DB2), and WebSphere.
Experience managing ServiceNow for workflow and ticket resolution across a global 24X7 environment.
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits.
