- Deliver telemetry, reporting, and operational intelligence for backup health and recovery readiness.
- Mentor engineers and influence senior stakeholders to coordinate cross-team delivery.
What we're looking for
- Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure areas such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, automation, scaling, and resilience.
- Demonstrated experience building distributed systems, platform services, APIs, automation frameworks, and cloud-native applications.
- Strong knowledge of data protection, backup/recovery, cyber resilience, immutable storage, and recovery testing.
- Advanced AWS experience in backup, IAM, security, observability, and infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in Python and at least one other language such as Java, Go, or C#.
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation and CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Expertise in SRE practices, monitoring, telemetry, and incident management using tools like Dynatrace and Grafana; experience with Cohesity, Commvault, and Kubernetes (preferred).
