What you'll do

Translate business requirements into end-to-end system designs for internal cloud and PSI environments.
Redesign components to meet performance, reliability, and cost targets while planning the retirement of legacy platforms.
Manage day-to-day engagement with OEM/ODM/JDM partners to ensure technical alignment and schedule accountability.
Act as a technical bridge between hardware design decisions and network, operating system, and application requirements.
Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation while ensuring data security.
Apply AI-assisted practices to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options within delivery and automation routines.
Support the full hardware lifecycle from prototype builds and lab validation through production release.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience building and improving hardware products with a mechanical or electrical engineering background.
Strong experience partnering with OEM, ODM, and JDM manufacturers across design, build, and delivery.
Solid understanding of production rack environments, including networking, compute hardware, power delivery, and cooling behavior.
Working knowledge of Open Compute and rack standards tied to heat rejection and voltage delivery.
Familiarity with PCIe, Redfish, and OpenBMC.
Hands-on Linux (Red Hat) server experience with Python or strong Bash scripting skills.
Hands-on experience with Llama API.
Experience owning BOMs and serving as a day-to-day interface with hardware suppliers.
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI tools to support infrastructure engineering workflows with disciplined validation practices.
Cloud on top of physical server experience (preferred).
Building automation and certifying servers for internal cloud (preferred).
