Lead Infrastructure Engineer, Firewall

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise firewall infrastructure using Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Tufin platforms.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for device provisioning and operational tasks using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Drive workstreams to architect and implement infrastructure changes that modernize organizational technology processes.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis, design documentation, and remediation validation.
• Act as the primary escalation point for Network Operations and Service Delivery teams.
• Establish engineering standards and technical artifacts for certified technology products.
• Analyze upstream and downstream technical implications to advise on risk mitigation actions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive implementation and operational documentation for infrastructure projects.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of firewall and network security design, engineering, and implementation experience within a large enterprise environment.
• Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering including hardware, networking, databases, storage, or automation.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
• Deep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages.
• Software development experience in one or more languages: Python, Ansible, Terraform, or JSON.
• Knowledge and experience with DMZ and other boundary network architecture.
• Experience with network security technologies such as proxy and load balancer (preferred).
• Experience working with Agile methodologies like Kanban and Scrum (preferred).
