Director of Infrastructure Engineering, Firewall Services

What you'll do

• Lead firewall engineering and operations across on-premises data centers and public cloud environments.
• Own the multi-year strategy and roadmap for firewall services, segmentation, and Zero Trust enforcement.
• Manage Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet platform architecture, lifecycle management, and global fleet health.
• Execute enterprise-scale firewall policy management including risk-based reviews, recertification, and continuous cleanup.
• Build automation and orchestration using APIs and CI/CD to implement policy-as-code and infrastructure-as-code.
• Deliver consistent firewall capabilities and deployment blueprints across Azure and AWS native and virtual platforms.
• Define and integrate Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) with on-premises Security Service Edge (SSE) capabilities.
• Establish logging, telemetry, and monitoring standards to provide high-fidelity data feeds to security operations.

What we're looking for

• Own the multi-year strategy and roadmap for firewall services, segmentation, and Zero Trust enforcement.
• Manage Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet platform architecture, standards, lifecycle management, and global fleet health.
• Build automation and orchestration at scale using APIs and CI/CD for policy-as-code and infrastructure-as-code.
• Deliver consistent firewall capabilities across Azure and AWS native and virtual firewall patterns.
• Build and develop a high-performing team with strong operational rigor and evidence-based decision making.
• Hands-on delivery experience implementing ZTNA and/or SSE/SASE capabilities in a hybrid environment (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, Fortinet NSE 7/8, AWS Advanced Networking, or Azure Network Engineer (preferred).
