Lead Engineer, Operational Technology Security

What you'll do

• Own the engineering, configuration, and day-to-day operation of the OT security platform.
• Expand and maintain sensor and collector coverage across global OT environments.
• Build and manage OT asset discovery, reconciliation, classification, and enrichment processes.
• Prioritize OT risks based on operational consequence, asset criticality, and remediation feasibility.
• Develop shared engineering requirements and technical patterns for network segmentation and vendor access.
• Build and maintain platform integrations and automation using APIs, connectors, and scripts.
• Provide OT-specific triage, remediation guidance, and closure validation to infrastructure and site teams.
• Manage daily vendor relationships, including support cases, roadmap feedback, and product evaluations.

What we're looking for

• A 4-year degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, infrastructure, or platform engineering is required.
• Significant experience securing OT/ICS environments is required.
• Hands-on experience engineering and operating an OT asset visibility and exposure platform at enterprise scale is required.
• Strong understanding of OT/ICS fundamentals including the Purdue Model, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial switches is required.
• Working knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC-UA, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET is required.
• Scripting and automation skills in at least one language (e.g., Python) and experience with REST APIs are required.
• Experience with Kafka, BigQuery, PowerBI, Terraform, CI/CD, or GitHub Actions is preferred.
