Lead Engineer, AI Security

What you'll do

• Assess and validate the security posture of AI systems and platforms throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and design weaknesses in AI architectures, models, and supporting infrastructure.
• Develop and execute security validation strategies including threat modeling, attack simulation, and adversarial testing.
• Perform deep technical reviews of AI products to provide actionable recommendations for strengthening security posture.
• Define security assessment methodologies, testing frameworks, and assurance standards specifically for AI technologies.
• Provide expert guidance on AI security best practices like prompt injection defenses, model security, and data protection.
• Recommend risk mitigation strategies and prioritized remediation plans to improve the resilience of AI systems.
• Communicate complex security risks and emerging AI-specific threats to technical and leadership stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• A 4-year degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Must be a software developer comfortable in several programming languages across different platforms.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in technology is required.
• Must have deep knowledge of cybersecurity domains including Information Protection, Cloud Security, Networking Security, IAM, Automation, and SIEM.
• Must have LLM Security expertise including RAG, MCP, input validation, and sandboxing.
• Must have an in-depth understanding of OWASP Top 10 for Large Language Model Applications.
• Must have a solid understanding of AI, ML, containerization technologies, and secure software development.
• Must have experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and DLP.
• Experience with GCP native security products (preferred).
• Experience with commercial security products (preferred).
• Vertex AI experience (preferred).
• AWS or Azure experience (preferred).
