What you'll do

Design, build, and scale security solutions to secure Target technologies.
Define security requirements and assess risks across various business lines and applications.
Develop and implement mitigation strategies for identified security threats.
Build new security solutions to force-multiply impact across partner teams.
Mentor team members in security concepts and engineering best practices.
Own enterprise-wide security projects including project planning and stakeholder communication.
Align business needs with security requirements to ensure proper risk management.
Leverage AI tools to improve the effectiveness of security tools and mechanisms.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or related field; or related experience.
7+ years of engineering experience in one or more information security domains.
Experience defining security requirements, managing findings, and mitigating risk across diverse business lines and applications.
Master’s degree in information security, computer science, or related field; or related experience (preferred).
10+ years of engineering experience in one or more information security domains (preferred).
Experience designing, developing, and scaling security solutions that enable "secure-by-default" technology (preferred).
Experience with on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure) and common security tools and frameworks (preferred).
Relevant security industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or OSCP (preferred).
