As a Lead Security Engineer within Target’s Proactive Security organization, you will lead the design and scaling of security solutions to protect Target's extensive technology landscape. This role involves collaborating with various business teams to define security requirements, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies across dozens of unique business lines and thousands of stakeholders. You will leverage your deep technical expertise to build new security tools and influence peers and partner teams while mentoring junior members in best practices. What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or related field; or equivalent experience
5+ years of engineering experience in information security domains like vulnerability management, threat intelligence, application security, incident response, and risk management
Experience defining security requirements, managing findings, and mitigating risks across multiple business lines and applications
Proven ability to own enterprise-wide security projects and communicate progress effectively to stakeholders
Executive-level communication skills for articulating technical topics to diverse audiences
Demonstrated experience harmonizing business needs with security requirements to manage threats and risks
