Lead Engineer - MBE Technology

What you'll do

• Establish robust model-based definition (MBD) data practices that are accurate, traceable, and machine-readable.
• Develop and implement standardized processes for the creation and management of model-based data.
• Ensure MBD data elements like geometry, annotations, and attributes meet both human and system requirements.
• Drive interoperability between information systems such as CAD, PLM, and downstream manufacturing consumers.
• Enable seamless digital consumption of MBD data in manufacturing and inspection environments.
• Build relationships with external suppliers to assess digital maturity and execute alignment roadmaps.
• Monitor industry trends in Model Based Engineering (MBE) to recommend technical improvements.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of Software Engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) to access export-controlled information.
• Ability to align stakeholders across diverse groups including Engineering, Product Definition, Sourcing, and Supply Chain.
• Experience in aerospace (preferred).
• Experience with standards and process development, digital transformation, and data traceability initiatives (preferred).
• Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes, GD&T, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and MBD-related standards or software (preferred).
