Senior Lead Security Engineer, AI Controls

What you'll do

• Develop and review high-quality production code primarily using Python.
• Design and troubleshoot security services and guardrails for AI and ML workloads on AWS.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure automation practices.
• Produce technical designs for complex applications ensuring security, reliability, and scalability.
• Lead security product evaluations with third-party vendors including proofs of concept and benchmarking.
• Implement security controls to mitigate misuse and malicious behavior in artificial intelligence systems.
• Support the adoption of new technologies and contribute to engineering best practices.

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in developing production software in Python or another object-oriented programming language.
• 5 years of applied software development experience across the software development life cycle.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and operating workloads on Amazon Web Services.
• Hands-on experience using Terraform and applying infrastructure automation best practices.
• Practical experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, including security considerations for generative AI.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud security controls for production workloads, including identity, encryption, and logging.
• Experience implementing security controls to mitigate misuse and malicious behavior in artificial intelligence systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production operations for cloud-native services (preferred).
• AWS certifications such as Certified Developer – Associate or DevOps Engineer – Professional (preferred).
