What you'll do

Serve as the primary technical authority for system architecture, EW functions, avionics integration, and flight controls.
Manage the decomposition and allocation of requirements across hardware, software, and integrated system interfaces.
Lead trade studies and architecture assessments regarding performance, safety, reliability, and SWaP constraints.
Ensure end-to-end traceability from customer needs through implementation, verification, and validation.
Direct the integration strategy for design, build, test, qualification, and production transition.
Provide technical oversight of suppliers regarding requirements flow-down, risk management, and deliverable acceptance.
Manage technical risks related to avionics, software/hardware integration, and platform performance.
Lead major technical reviews while mentoring teams and enforcing systems engineering best practices.

What we're looking for

Secret Clearance required, with the ability to obtain higher levels.
Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience, Master's and 7 years, or 13 years of experience without a degree.
Experience in systems engineering for aerospace or other highly integrated mission-critical systems (preferred).
Experience as a Lead Systems Engineer, Chief Engineer, or Chief Systems Engineer on aerospace programs (preferred).
Experience with avionics systems, system interfaces, and flight or system controls (preferred).
Experience providing technical oversight of suppliers, subcontractors, or external development partners (preferred).
Experience with Electronic Warfare systems (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
