The Senior Specialist, Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer joins the engineering team to provide lifecycle support for electronic warfare systems from conceptual development through product phase-out. This role involves performing requirements analysis and management, developing technical specifications, creating interface control documents, and drafting test plans and procedures. The engineer will participate in design reviews, manage requirement traceability to verification matrices, and oversee system deployment and in-house technical support. Key responsibilities include ensuring technical performance, quality, and schedule adherence while managing risk. The ideal candidate possesses skills in Model Based Systems Engineering, problem solving, and technical communication. This position addresses the complex engineering challenges inherent in electronic warfare systems, requiring a focus on configuration solutions and testing conformance to specifications within a multi-functional environment to ensure mission success for critical defense technology applications.
Support the full lifecycle of Electronic Warfare systems from conceptual development through product phase-out.
Manage requirements and ensure traceability from verification test matrices to original customer specifications.
Develop technical specifications, interface control documents, and detailed test plans and procedures.
Analyze configuration and processing solutions while testing conformance to established specifications.
Monitor and ensure technical performance, quality standards, and adherence to project schedules.
Participate in design reviews and provide risk management input within a multi-functional engineering environment.
Provide in-house technical support during the operational life cycle of the system.
Travel to customer and subcontractor sites for technical meetings and verification activities.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience, a graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or no degree and 10 years of experience.
Must currently hold a DoD security clearance.
Experience in system level development, requirements definition, analysis, and risk mitigation for Communications or Electronic Warfare systems (preferred).
Presentation and communication skills (preferred).
Problem solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines (preferred).
Understanding of project coordination and roles of technical support personnel (preferred).
