Lead Desktop Engineer, End User Compute

What you'll do

• Lead the technical design, implementation, and administration of enterprise endpoint platforms and workplace technologies.
• Manage operating system lifecycles including deployments, upgrades, and patch management for Windows, macOS, and virtual desktops.
• Develop device configuration standards, security baselines, and automated solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Implement modern management capabilities such as MDM, zero-touch provisioning, and Cloud PC solutions.
• Partner with security teams to enforce endpoint security controls and manage vulnerability remediation.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for junior engineers on complex technical issues.
• Lead large-scale projects from initial concept through production deployment and operational transition.

What we're looking for

• Must have at least 7 years of experience supporting and engineering enterprise endpoint environments.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience administering large-scale enterprise desktop management platforms.
• Requires advanced experience supporting Windows endpoint environments.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, Microsoft Entra ID, and Jamf Pro.
• Requires strong proficiency in PowerShell and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Must have experience implementing endpoint security technologies, including Microsoft Defender Antivirus and WDAC.
• Must possess the ability to lead complex technical initiatives and mentor junior team members.
• Preferred experience includes managing 5,000+ endpoints and working in highly regulated environments.
