What you'll do

  • Provide architectural oversight and guidance for the company's data platform and related initiatives.
  • Lead design reviews for data sourcing, pipelines, models, and ontology resources to ensure scalability.
  • Develop architectural artifacts and documentation to support the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Oversee and guide the development of scalable, reusable, and high-performing data pipelines.
  • Use Palantir Foundry to perform data integration and manage ontologies for big data analytics.
  • Define data governance, metadata, and ontology standards in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor emerging technologies to recommend improvements to the existing data platform architecture.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree and 9 years of Palantir experience, Graduate degree and 7 years of Palantir experience, or 13 years of Palantir experience without a degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Data Pipeline development or ETL tools such as Palantir Foundry, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or Python.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Data Integration.
  • Experience supporting or implementing solutions that leverage Generative AI capabilities, including RAG, semantic search, and LLM integration (preferred).
  • Experience with specific Palantir Foundry tools such as Ontology Manager, Compass, Code Repository, Solution Designer, OSDK, AI FDE, and AIP Analyst (preferred).
  • Understanding of BI and DW development methodologies (preferred).
  • Experience with Python, Pandas, Databricks, JavaScript, TypeScript, or other scripting languages (preferred).
  • Security clearance.
