Lead, Chief Systems Engineer joins a team to support radar-related programs and develop advanced solutions for high-priority assets. This role involves managing systems engineering processes using waterfall or agile/scrum methodologies while maintaining the program's technical baseline. Key responsibilities include reviewing system requirements, conducting trade studies, performing requirement analysis, and leading development of CONOPS. Execute systems engineering processes using both traditional waterfall and agile/scrum methodologies across the program.

Review system requirements, preliminary designs, peer reviews, detailed designs, and test plans.
Lead development of CONOPS, conduct trade studies, and perform requirements analysis for radar systems.
Translate customer requirements into system solutions that balance technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Perform cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses across the full system lifecycle.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience, a graduate degree with 7 years of experience, or no degree with 13 years of experience.
Must have technical leadership experience for teams larger than 50 people.
Experience in radar software, signal processing, and/or RF hardware.
Secret security clearance required.
Experience with phased array radars, high power amplifiers, digital beamforming, SDA mission prosecution, LPAR, HWIL simulation, surveillance, or signal processing (preferred).
Experience with CAMEO Systems modeler or MagicDraw (preferred).
Knowledge of Kubernetes environments, specifically Redhat OpenShift Containerized Platform (preferred).
