What you'll do

Design and execute integration and test plans to verify functionality and performance of real-time systems.
Develop and maintain software for high-availability, safety-critical systems supporting national airspace operations.
Translate complex system requirements into efficient, maintainable software test plans and cases.
Lead and mentor junior integrators while influencing technical direction and promoting best practices.
Support system integration activities involving hardware and low-level communication interfaces.
Perform root cause analysis, problem determination, and change validation for complex software systems.
Participate in Agile ceremonies to support software development and build team goals.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 4–8 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 2–6 years of experience.
Strong object-oriented programming experience and proficiency in Perl, Python, and shell scripting.
Experience developing real-time, multi-threaded, high-availability systems.
Experience leading integration and test activities for complex software systems.
Hands-on experience with Linux environments (Red Hat), virtual machines, hypervisors, and low-level communication protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, and SCTP.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Experience with test automation frameworks or AI/ML tools in software development (preferred); Air Traffic domain knowledge (preferred).
