Laboratory Service Engineer III

What you'll do

• Execute engineering builds of Dextro tools within the lab while ensuring configuration and readiness requirements are met.
• Assemble, configure, troubleshoot, and perform bring-up activities for complex tool systems.
• Manage Clear-to-Build (CTB) processes by ensuring materials, configurations, and documentation are complete and accurate.
• Validate Bills of Materials (BOMs), purchased components, and physical build alignment to ensure configuration integrity.
• Coordinate material requests, procurement activities, staging, and the expediting of critical components.
• Document build configurations, deviations, issues, and resolutions while maintaining accurate records and standard operating procedures.
• Verify tool readiness and complete documentation for successful handoff to Global Operations and Field Support.
• Identify and escalate issues impacting build schedules, material readiness, or delivery commitments.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5+ years of related experience is required.
• A Master's degree in a technical field with 3+ years of related experience is accepted.
• A PhD in a technical field is acceptable with no prior experience required.
• An Associate’s degree or equivalent military training with 7+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Preferred: 5+ years of hands-on experience in lab environments, NPI/prototype builds, and semiconductor or equipment systems.
• Experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and configuration management is preferred.
• Understanding of materials flow, build processes, and procurement coordination is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and manage Clear-to-Build (CTB) readiness processes is preferred.
